How can one get the most out of his life, family and business?
You will be surprised to know that it is pretty simple. Yet oftentimes, we make life hard even though it does not have to be. The first thing you have to do is to decide what is relevant in your life and what is not working for you. This is simply because we have the capacity to hold on a little more than we should especially on irrelevant things that we eventually become ineffective in other areas of our lives such as our business, family, and health. In this article, I will teach you the fundamentals of having it all and living a life on purpose not just in regards to your business, but in your personal life as well.
In today's society, we are taught that wealth and money are important for everyday living. Sadly, this is not true. Allow me to explain. When our home life is unstable and without peace, it produces a breakdown in our business and our overall living. When a person's life is out of balance, it can affect how they live, how they transact business and most importantly, how they take care of their family. In this module we will discuss three elements to a healthier lifestyle.
A healthy home brings a healthy life. As we spend time with our families -- not just hit and miss moments, but investing in the lives of those that are close to us, we begin to experience and get a taste of what family is all about. Family is not just paying the mortgage every month and placing food on the table. It goes beyond the superficial needs but more on an emotional needs. Our children are happier, our spouses are content -- causing peace and true happiness. Just like the old saying goes "If mama is not happy then no one is happy" -- this same principle applies. When home life is sadden, it affects everyone in the home and your children will sense something is out of order. What then should you do? Spend quality time with your family. Never leave an impression on your family that you do not care enough to spend time with them.
If your family life is off balanced, it can affect how you make decisions and relate to others in business. Generally, we used to say how we treat our families is how we typical treat others. But after careful examination, I conclude that often we treat others better than how we treat our immediate families; for the simple reason that we know our family will always be there for us no matter what. Yes we take our families for granted, but the flip side to that is when we are in conflict with those close to us, we have difficulties interacting and making decisions in business. For the reason that people closest to us have a strong pull on our lives. We tend to be in conflict with others -- in our circles such as friends and colleagues.
Our lives in general are out of control based upon how we eat. We tend to eat unhealthy foods, and we lack exercise and energy as well. We become tired and running on very little steam. This is not good for our families nor our business. Making poor decisions especially in regards to our health affect every aspect of our lives from our families to business and lifestyle living. We become too tired because of lack of nourishment -- affecting our concentration that causes us to struggle with our thoughts and emotions throughout the day. Eventually, we experience sleep deprivation which affects our performance at work and home.
All three are very important for you to get the most out of your life, your family and your business. If you noticed, these 3 factors are intertwined together. As you make conscious effort to spend quality time with your family and enjoy healthy living by choosing a healthy lifestyle, eventually your hard work, with the inspiration of your loved ones will produce a great harvest. Your good harvest is your successful business.
