Challenge yourself to blog

Content Marketing

Our January Blogging Challenge is well and truly here, so if you're up for it, let's get cracking!

If you are new to the idea of blogging, this post is written for you. I’m hoping that you might challenge yourself to start blogging too after reading this post.

After all, if I can do it, anyone can. I'm a novice at blogging too but I love the idea. I always enjoy reading articles posted on our site; thanks to their authors the articles are always fun to read, informative and packed with useful business advice. So with a booster dose of such articles for our reading pleasure is like being in a constant state of bliss (drug free)! :)

Take it from me. It’s easy to get started. Here’s why:

1. You don’t need to be a professional blogger to start.

We’re a community of entrepreneurs and business owners on the same life-long learning journey. No one is here to judge, so just be yourself and blog.

2. You’ll never run out of things to blog about.

Since we’re a business site, the decision on what to blog about is easy. Just blog about business topics you’re comfortable blogging about, all in the spirit of helping others.

3. There are no wild expectations.

No one, nor should you have any wild expectations of success in blogging (yet). Just get started and blog as often as you like, at a pace you feel comfortable with.

4. You’ll get great exposure with minimum fuss.

There is no need to "hack", set up or promote your blog. You have an instant audience of like-minded people on the site. Just focus on writing.

So the message is simple - the blogging challenge is a great opportunity to get started and anyone can do it! We've made this site easy to use. It's also easy to see blogging is good for business. It's a great way to share with others and build your brand while you're at it. And you know what the best part about it is? It cements your own learnings as you share.

At the end of the day, if you're still tossing up whether or not you should get into the action, why not start with one short article (just like this one), and let it takes its course? The first step is always the hardest.

Go to Information on the navigation bar > Write an article. You can also check out the "Savvy Content Writing Checklist" link for more tips. Good luck! :)

PS. The comics are what I picked up across the web; just thought you might enjoy some light humor while we’re on the topic
