Brivis is a scam. If you haven't yet bought a Brivis, consider yourself lucky and buy another brand. As soon as they get your money, you are going to see the worst service and product quality in Australia. As other reviews here state - warranty means nothing. Warranty covers nothing. Brivis products are incredibly poor quality and break frequently. They farm out repairs to dishonest companies who they are not connected with, no processes, horrible, rude experiences. Brivis is a scam.
Warranty is basically a sham. Shame you can't give zero. We bought house with a Brivis ducted heater. It's a 2011 model with 10 year warranty. We had it serviced this winter after having moved in 1 and half years ago. We read the warranty T&C very carefully and are fully entitled to have the cracked heat exchanger repaired or part replaced under warranty. Heard nothing from them as they probably want to have you wait until the 10 years tick over. This is why Australian manufacturing is a dying industry.
Arrogant and uncooperative telephone contact, virtually told me to get someone else. VERY expensive verbal quote for simple service call. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!
I booked a service for my Brivas Buffalo Ducted Heating system 2 weeks ago after numerous telephone calls to the Brivas Service Line (and I left my number 5 times for a call back) and no one has ever called me back, contacted me or yet attended to service my heating system. This is the worst service I have ever had from any service provider. I will never use Brivas/Rinai again for anything in future.
