Replaced an older Brivis gas ducted which was around 20 years old with a new 5 star unit. Some small adjustments with duct size but pretty painless. Gas isolation solenoid was faulty and the transformer was a bit buzzy but George the Brivis tech came out and replaced it quickly and it has been excellent ever since. When the time comes I'll be replacing my old evap with a Brivis. As a bonus i can run it off the same remote.
As per another review I read I too would give ZERO if I could. Air conditioner less than 4 year old broke down in early November 2017 under warranty. It is now close to mid FEB 2018 and STILL no repair date. I cannot even count how many times we have called them (on hold 30 mins plus every time), the customer service from this company is ATROCIOUS. I would NEVER recommend this company.
To be honest I have always used Brivis in the 30 years I have had their ducted heating & evap cooling. Very Happy with Brivis & the service guy Mark was fantastic. Was given a day & an am or pm est time. Received phone call saying on his way to ensure I was home. Done within the hour service call out fee. Would recommend & give them 10/10.
Don't buy from or use these guys , customer service is woeful at best 45 min on hold with no answer and support for products.
So my experience seems a bit different to the many reviews. I used an online form to request service for a Wombat 20 with a fan issue. Contact the next day with a booking for the following day. Tech called the evening prior confirming time slot, called just prior to coming around. Turned up and got straight into it, we had a good chat and he gave excellent operating advice. Consulted with me and replaced the motor. Here's the 2 star deduction.. all the work and servicing took place within the initial call out time period. However what I can't explain is why all was quiet in the ceiling for 10 minutes with very little activity or clanging of tools occurring - this pushed the total time into the next 15 min / $30 block. My recommendation is watch these service techs like a hawk. I'm not paying for them to surf the net or setup the next job. Would I use them again - absolutely but I'd follow my advice. You'll be warm and have enough extras can to buy a coffee a day for a week...
