ABOUT

The key to building and running a sustainable business can be distilled down into 3 main factors: EFFICIENCY, QUALITY and PROFITABILITY. As a result EQP Optimisation Solutions was born. Those who know me well or have worked with me in the past will know that my business and employment philosophy has always revolved around these principles and I am a staunch believer in creating the best possible solution by ensuring all 3 are at an optimal level.

Inventory Optimization
Inventory Optimization

Working with sales forecasts or maximum production capability and inventory lead times GBOS can calculate the optimized stock levels required to meet demand or to ensure maximal continuous production capability. We establish minimum order quantities and re-order levels based on this information to ensure the ordering process is more reliant on documentation than on the personal intervention of purchasing or production staff.

End of Line Quality Audit
End of Line Quality Audit

GBOS provides an extensive End of Line QC service for our customers. We spend the time to get to know your products in detail and review specifications locally to gain a greater picture of the implications of failures of even the most minor processes or components. We then conduct site audits during manufacture of your products to ensure both the raw material and the finished product is within your specifications and the final product is delivered EXACTLY as requested.

Specifications Audit
Specifications Audit

GBOS provides an intricate and detailed audit of your documentation and specifications to ensure all relevant information is captured and specifications are adequately defined. This audit covers all items from labeling to major mechanical components and guarantees that your product definitions are in a suitable format and level of completeness to be readily manufactured by alternative suppliers in either a domestic or international setting.

Offshore Manufacturing Transition
Offshore Manufacturing Transition

Our extensive experience in offshore contract manufacturing and history of successful transition project management means you can rest assured that your products will be painlessly transferred to an offshore manufacturer with a minimum of stress and expense. Our project management process takes in all facets of the transfer of manufacture to an offshore vendor from initial supplier auditing thorough to volume production and (if required) ongoing product and vendor management.

Sourcing Advisory
Sourcing Advisory

We combine our experience working on the floor in Australian manufacturing facilities and offshore manufacturing experience together with internal interviews with key stakeholders and key staff to formulate a detailed picture of your internal manufacturing processes. We then identify those areas where the opportunity for improvement exists by transferring those processes that are either non-essential or not within your company's core capabilities to a domestic or offshore facility.
