The views are spectacular, and the location is perfect. We had a lovely stay here, though the beds were a little uncomfortable and my mother had to go out and buy a new pillow because she couldnt handle the pillows at the hotel. The amenities are great: three pools -including two outdoor and one indoor lap pool- a spa, a gym, and a games room. It's great having four lifts, especially with the amount of people staying there. The staff were so great, we managed to have a room ready by 7:30am, which was amazing because it meant we had a place to rest for a little while after our flight before getting started with our day. Overall, we had a great stay here, thought the views and convenience were by far the highlight of the hotel.
Spent 3 nights in the 2 bedroom ocean view apartment and all I can say is that this room was so spacious. Beautiful view of the ocean and not to mention the city as well just right at surfers. Walking distance to shops and all staff were friendly and also has a killer room service that is longboards bar, great burgers. Would highly recommend this and compared equivalent to The Star.
We had a 3 bedroom sub penthouse on 71st of 74 floors. The place was beautiful with 270degree views for ever. Beds were uncomfortablely cheap considering the apartment...cutting costs in the wrong place. Had fabulous showers and bath, kitchen and pool table. Elevator was fast, staff were helpful. Outdoor pool was very cold as was indoor pool and it smelt discussing.
Nice place to stay. Close to everything but not too close to the hustle and bustle of surface paradise. The cost is a bit more that what I would normally pay but worth it. We stayed there a week, the surf was poor but the weather was great.
Went there to see a friend, the rooms are very spacious. There is a restaurant on the top floor. Haven't been there myself but was told by my friend it tastes great. The resort is located in the middle of Surfers, easy from shops, clubs and the beach.
