These businesses can also defer paying payroll tax for the first quarter of the 2020-21 financial year.

If you need to claim a reimbursement for payroll tax already paid this 2019/2020 financial year, you can use PTX Express and select "Apply for a Refund".

All eligible businesses must still lodge their returns, but you don't have to pay payroll taxes. For more information regarding deferring payroll tax for next financial year, the State Revenue Office will provide more information in July.
