I'm extending my audience to include millenials. How can I optimize social media to reach them out?
What's the best way to reach out and appeal to them? Thank you for your answers.

One of the main things millennials look for on social media is authenticity. You have to be transparent with them. They can tell when you are selling, so before you try selling be sure to connect with them in a meaningful way. It never hurts to show some "Behind the scenes" on a process or new product. Perhaps even just sharing some snaps of the team.
Essentially they want to see that the company is "human" and that the people running the company are not just trying to make a quick buck on them.
If at all possible try to engage them in conversations or in part of your company's process.

I have to agree with Jef. Authenticity is key.
To this point, I would then argue that it is not so much about writing content or posting "For" them, but rather, it is about providing context and content. If you seek to be something "for" them, rather than staying true to your brand promise and tone, you will come across as inauthentic and they will feel it.
If you are confident you are staying true to your brand and your content is authentic, identify some key influencers in the market you want to address and get some feedback. People like to be heard. If they see action on their feedback (providing it is meaningful and within your ability to deliver - or that you explain why you cannot do what they want - then you will reap the benefits of their attention as they discuss your brand for you.
