Should I hire a podcast producton ageny or do it myself?

Has anyone here on SavvySME ever made a podcast? I can do the pre-production and recording, but I think it may be best to outsource the podcast post production services. Or, would you recommend that I use a podcast production agency for the whole process to ensure the finished product is high-quality?
