How often do you upgrade your gadgets?

Hi Savvies,

I was wondering how often do you upgrade to the latest model of your phone or tablet? Both my tablet and smartphone has started to lag so I was wondering, at what point do you stop?

I'm an updataholic usually 1-2 years (until a contract finishes) or 2 years max for laptops because I run them fast :)!!

I probably update my phone every couple of years. Laptops and tablets probably less frequently - as long as they're functioning. I don't see the need to update for a device with better features all the time, if it fulfills my basic requirements!
