Where and how to do online advertising for free?

Your social media is your best free advertising platform, you just need to be where your target market is hanging out. You can also search free business directories and list your business on these. Additionally you have Google Business and local councils. Another great strategy is to look at collaborating with a business that has the same target market as you, but isn't your competitor. Do a 'giveaway' to build up momentum.

How much does it cost to hire a digital marketing agency?

You don't always have to hire a digital marketing agency to achieve the results you needs. You can hire various people who special in each areas for a fraction of the cost. I always think it's a great strategy to create a team to support your business, so if one isn't available, all wheels won't fall off!  There are Facebook Ad, SEO, Social media and online marketing experts. And you can hire them per project.

Startup

What are the typical costs associated with launching a startup?

Launching a start up can varying in pricing. Depending on what you're launching and how you want to launch it.  Some businesses can be launched with very minimal cost under $500 specifically if they're online businesses. It all depends on what services you use to start your business. Going cheap isn't always effective, as it's a bit of buyers beward. Happy to chat about what you're planning to launch and what potential costs could be involved. Feel free to reach out to me.  Anne

Should you keep your social media marketing in-house or outsource?

I would say that if you are struggling to keep on top of it and it's not your area of expertise, then yes you should consider outsourcing it. Comparing your hourly rate doing a minimal task against that of hiring someone to do it whilst you focus on your genius zone. Alternatively, look at batching and prescheduling your content. You can do most o fyour content in a couple of hours for a whole month. Once you know your theme and items. I offer social media support to businesses and would be happy to chat to you about your options and potential costs.  Anne
