The A to Z of SEO in 2018

The most up to date and comprehensive infographic on SEO that's relevant up to 2018 (and beyond). There's something for everyone, from beginner SEO favourites (duplicate content, anyone?) to advanced and technical SEO terms (Javascript rendering, Schema markup, etc.).  Some of the mentioned items aren’t necessarily new in 2018, but are still either part of Google’s core algorithms, or just ...

How much does SEO cost in Australia?

As someone in the industry, I've seen prices ranging from $150-$20,000 a month. What you're really paying for is intellectual property and risk management, a great provider of SEO will be able to break down your needs from an organic traffic standpoint, then devise and implement a strategy that achieves those goals.Any freelancer/agency that wants to charge any more than a $1,000/month needs to be able to interpret analytics data and present it in a meaningful way to show where the ROI is on SEO. Any freelancer/agency that wants to charge more than $8,000/month needs a team or the skillset that encompasses content (including site architecture and creating optimised content for your website), linkbuilding (with a strategic plan for how many links they will build and transparency on how they do it), as well as technical optimisation (including XML sitemaps, reading server logs, schema implementation, etc.).Hope that answer helps!

What is Panda 4.0 and Why Is It So Important?

It’s something we’ve all been waiting for ever since the rollout of Penguin 3.0 in October of 2014. Google’s Penguin Algorithm, which is aimed at demoting sites with bad link profiles using spammy link building techniques, was first introduced in 2012 and changed the landscape of what it meant to be a “white hat link builder”. What makes Penguin 4.0 so special is that like Panda, this ...

How do I choose the best web hosting company?

"Best web hosting" will be subjective based off your own website's needs. There are 4 different categories of website hosting:Shared HostingVirtual Hosting (VPS)Dedicated HostingCloud based hostingFor most people that have a single website with lowish traffic (less than 10,000 visits a day), than the cheapest and most popular solution is going to be Shared Hosting or Cloud Hosting. For Shared Hosting you will want to find a provider that has their servers located as physically close to you as possible. So for a website in Australia, you'll want to find a host that has their servers IN Australia. You can even take this mentality down to a State level (It also helps in terms of contact hours for hosting support).Unlike Shared Hosting, where your website will be stored and run off a single server that's shared with other websites, Cloud Hosting runs off a network of servers, which means that it is less likely that someone can crash your website via a DDOS attack or similar because your website isn't relying on a single server to handle its load.
